About us Inn Door 21
A personal and family-led project to restore a building in the historic centre of Bragança. The decision was to preserve the original architecture, with all its visible signs of wear, life and history, whilst adapting the space to meet contemporary standards of comfort. The result is Inn Door 21.
Inn door 21: A house with history
Inn Door 21 wasn’t built from scratch; it was restored. A building that has stood for decades in the Bragança’s historic centre, restored to preserve what time has left and to adapt the space to those who visit it today.

The building
Um edifício de traça tradicional no centro histórico de Bragança. Décadas de uso, vida e história acumuladas nas paredes, no soalho, nos detalhes.
2018
The project
The decision to restore rather than demolish. To preserve what is there, repair what time has damaged, and adapt it to contemporary use without erasing the essence of the space.
2021
The inauguration
Inn Door 21 is now open. Suites, twin rooms and dormitories with views of Bragança Castle.
